DOT504 is the first fully professional physical dance theatre company in the Czech Republic which was founded in 2006 by its artistic director Lenka Ottová. Apart from the participation at the Czech and Slovakian festivals, the company performed at festivals in Warsaw, Athens, Aerowaves in London and at Fringe Festival in Edinburgh 2008 (UK) where it was nominated among the four beste companies for The Total Theatre Award in the category Young Company. DOT504 as the first Czech ensemble also represented the Czech dance scene at Tanzemesse in Düsseldorf (August 2008). In October 2008 the piece Holdin' Fast was nominated for the annual Sazka Prize 2008 in the dance/ballet category. Dancers of DOT504 are one of the best dancers in CR. Helena Arenbergerová was awarded prestigious SAZKA Prize 2008 for Interpretation and was nominated for Thalia Prize 2007 for her performance in Holdin' Fast. Petr Opavský was nominated for Thalia Prize 2007 for interpretation (Heaven is the place...). Lenka Vágnerová was awarded SAZKA Prize 2005 and was also nominated for Thalia Prize in 2005. And this year Pavel Mašek was also nominated for Interpretation Prize of the Czech Dance Platform festival (100 Wounded Tears).
