ME-SA

The independent company ME-SA was founded in 2006 by a trio of dancers, Hana Kalousková, Martina Lacová and Karolína Hejnová (Párová), following their almost 2-year cooperation with the Korean choreographer Ji-Eun Lee. In April 2009, the trio presented Echoes, a site-specific project, at a synagogue in the Prague district of Palmovka. The piece received the Czech Dance Platform Spectators’ Prize in 2010. Since the season 2010/2011, ME-SA has mostly been working at their residency space Studio ALT@ – Hall 30 in Holešovice, Prague. The company has presented their projects at a number of important festivals, among them Czech Dance Platform, TANEC PRAHA, Small Inventory or Edinburg Fringe Festival.
